The 26th Annual Mid-Missouri Horse, Mule, & Ox Farming & Historical Crafts Days

Oct. 7 & 8, 2023

Time: 10 am to 5 pm/ 10 am to 3 pm

Admission: $6 ages 6 to adult (No credit/debit cards!)

Heritage crafts and old-tyme farming skills are highlighted in this 2-day

family event that showcases a simpler life. Draft animals will be demonstrating "no gas needed" farming skills as well as providing power for corn-grinding, sorghum pressing, log loading, log sawing, and more (weather permitting). Syrup cooking, spinning, weaving, soapmaking, dry stone masonry, natural dyeing, leatherwork, basketmaking, children's primitive games and toys, and much more! (listing subject to change). Roman Riding by Michaela Redeker and Daredevil Drafts! Drover Carl Heth will be fielding questions about oxen care and training. Real chuckwagon cooking and wild game on the menu plus other treats! More may be added as we get closer to the event weekend! Have a working or driving animal and want to join us? We'd love to welcome you!
